Continuous sliding animation

I'm total;y new in animation and I was experimenting with sliding animation. I managed to make my texture slide, but I cant figure out how to make animation continuous.
For example I'd like to make a treadmill like animation with speed that could be changed at runtime.

Could anyone point me to the right direction?
