Combining a imageview and textview for rendering

Hi,

I want to render a view in 3d coordinates where my view consists of two texts and one image. Is there any way to combine these two texts and image into one bitmap and render the newly created bitmap using opengl ?

Any pointer is appreciated.

The image can easily be loaded as a texture and be displayed on a quad in GL. As for the test views, I know it is possible to render text to a bitmap, and then once again use that bitmap as a texture. I believe the SpriteText demo from google has code for doing that. You be able to combine the two, depending on what you are trying to do.

Note that if you have to render a new bitmap every frame, it could be fairly slow. If you only need to do it on updates, say a few times a second, you'll be ok.
