Hello,

Here's the problem, I updated my nexus one to android 2.2(froyo) and now for some reason it cant render textures in my program whereas it was rendering fine in version 2.1. I ran some 3d games and they were displaying everything fine. Then I ran my program on a virtual device(1.6 and 2.2) and it was fine.

So does 2.2 do something differently with opengl?

I found out what was wrong.

For some weird reason, it seems that the android 2.1 on nexus one supports non-power of 2 textures but not on android 2.2.

I don't know what exactly causes it but if you load a NPOT texture from resources, it may or may not show up, which led to my initial confusion since I actually thought of the NPOT issue but I tested a NPOT texture separately and it showed up fine. So just use POT images for your textures or resize them in code.
