Activity not resizing to 800x480?

Hey guys,

Tried to search for this one but the search terms I used didn't seem to find worthwhile results. I'm creating an application to run on a device with a 800x480 resolution (the archos 5) so I've created an AVD in the emulator with that resolution. However, when I run my program in the emulator it simply shows the program with the default android size, centered in the 800x480 window. It is not stretched to cover the whole screen. How can I fix this?

Hmm.. Looks ok to me. Does it work right on a physical device? The emulator should not be used as a definite means of debugging as a physical device will give you a true visualization of how the app will behave.

I also have the same problem I created a gae for the 800 x 480 Tablet but this is what happens.
