Step 1. Run the program and choose iTunes backup file to scan
Here we perform the recovery with iOS Data Recovery for iPad. For Mac users, please download the Mac version of this program.
After downloading and installing the program, launch it and you will see a start interface as the image below shows. It scans and displays iTunes backup files of all iOS devices that have synced with iTunes on your computer.
Select the right backup of your iPad and click "Start Scan".
Step 2. Preview found contacts and save them on PC
Soon the scan will finish and the program will be displayed as image below. Files extracted from iTunes backup will be showed in different categories including Camera Roll, Note, Contacts and more.
