Difference between PixelGrabber and onPictureTaken method?

Postby minhzc » Tue Aug 04, 2009 7:05 pm

I have two code implements:
Code: Select all
Camera.PictureCallback photoCallback=new Camera.PictureCallback()
   {
      public void onPictureTaken(byte[] data, Camera camera)
      {
                    ...
                }

above is the code for Android environment.
and this code below is for Windows environment:
Code: Select all
PixelGrabber grabber = new PixelGrabber(image, 0, 0, width, height, data, 0, width);
   grabber.grabPixels();

I have some questions, what is the difference of the data[] output value of two implements above?
Can "image" value in PixelGrabber store Bitmap data?
And the data array that PixelGrabber grabbing is the same meaning as data array in onPictureTaken?(I don't mind if the difference is byte and int).
If they are different, I wonder how to convert the second data array to Byte array of Bitmap data.
Thank you alot!.
