Auto update for ListView

Postby publicster » Fri Jul 09, 2010 7:25 am

I am working with a long running program that uses listview with custom arrayadapater (an item code and item price). Price of item may change every minute (like stock market). Here comes to my question. I would like to perform auto update for the row of list. I found some references that I have to use add/remove/insert function for arrayadapter, is that mean I cannot modify any row item? I also found that I can use simplecursoradapter instead of arrayadapter because there is a requery function to update the change of data. However, I don't want to create a new database as I grabbed the these data from mysql. So what is the best way to achieve this task??
