Advanced UI tutorials

Postby Andreas Agvard » Mon May 24, 2010 9:16 am

Me and a collegue at Sony Ericsson has recently started a series of tutorials focusing on Advanced UI. One series on how to implement Zoom into your application, and another on how to make your own 3d list as an AdapterView.

The first part of each tutorial series is out now, and the following parts will be made available shortly. The Tutorials are for Android and works on all Android devices, not in any way limited to Sony Ericsson.

Hi, I really like what you're doing!! :D

I'm actually more interested in listview at the moment and can't wait to see the 2nd and 3rd part of the tutorial.

There are two things I couldn't find on the web yet;
1 - fish-eye list
2 - the list like this, described in my post (I know I posted in wrong part of forum :) ): http://www.anddev.org/android-2d-3d-graphics-opengl-tutorials-f2/help-cyanogen-s-launcher-like-listview-t14473.html I think I will get at least a partial answer to this in "Making your own 3D list – Part 2" tutorial

The final part of the list tutorial is up now! I know a lot of people has anticipated it since it features a lot of great tips on how to do dynamic behavior.

The final part of the zoom tutorial will also be up shortly we're I'll build upon the dynamics solution used in the List tutorial and show some basic physics modeling.
